Early Life and Education Dewitt Loomis Alexandre II was born in 1949, the son of Dewitt Loomis Alexandre and Cynthia Lenox Banks Alexandre. He attended Salisbury School in Connecticut and later graduated from the University of Denver.

Career He began his professional career in finance, serving as an associate with the investment firm Kidder, Peabody & Co., where he worked in corporate and securities analysis during the firm’s expansion years in the 1970s and 1980s.

Personal Life Alexandre first married Priscilla Baker Hill in 1976, with whom he had two children. After their separation, he married Kristin Kuhns Gerrity, a designer and arts philanthropist, with whom he has two more children.

Residences and Affiliations He has been associated with business and family circles in both New York and Florida and remains active in private investment and family ventures.
