Early Life and Family

James Andrew Alexandre was born in 1986, the son of DeWitt Loomis Alexandre II and Kristin Kuhns Alexandre. He descends from the long-established Alexandre family, whose roots trace to the Channel Islands and whose members were prominent in New York mercantile and financial circles through the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

Entrepreneurial Activities

In 2011, Alexandre took a leave of absence from his university studies to pursue business opportunities in the Winter Park area. Demonstrating the commercial initiative characteristic of his family history, he acquired the New York Coin Laundry, a local small business. Working in consultation with his father, he executed a strategic expansion of the business, overseeing facility renovations and introducing new services such as pick-up and delivery options. His entry into local commerce was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
