Early Life and Family Cynthia Lenox Banks Alexandre was born in 1944, the daughter of Dewitt Loomis Alexandre and Cynthia Lenox Banks. She belongs to the branch of the Alexandre family descended from the prominent New York shipping merchant Frederick Francis Alexandre.

Career and Activities A graduate of Smith College, she spent part of her professional life in London, where she was associated with the Alexandre family’s continuing international connections. During that period she attended the funeral of her distant relative, Sir Winston Churchill, as a representative of the Alexandre family.

Residences In later life, Cynthia Alexandre has made her home in Gulf Stream, Florida.
