Alexandre, James Henry IV (1942–1976)
Early Life and Education
James Henry Alexandre IV was born in 1942, the son of James Henry Alexandre III and Catherine Holbrook Clark. He was educated at the Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts, and at Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania.
Military Service
Following his graduation, Alexandre served as a lieutenant in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966, part of the generation whose early adulthood coincided with the Vietnam era.
